Core 22 Design Build was contracted to provide construction management/owner representative services by USAA Realco for a 4.5 story, 266,292 SF, 850 space, precast parking structure in Norfolk, VA. Our responsibilities included, but were not limited to, managing/monitoring:
Design team selection
Design development process to ensure project scope is achieved
Lead design and construction progress meetings
Contract review
Consultant invoice review and approval
The overall project budget (including FFE and other non-design/construction-related costs)
Assist with jurisdictional reviews and project-related mitigation issues
Construction-related activities, including pay applications review, review shop drawings, change order management, site visits to monitor progress, quality and safety procedures, claim disputes.
